Effective date: September 6, 2026
Papalalo, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides BeeXon. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the BeeXon mobile app, visit beexon.app, or contact us.
The app, website, and support email have different information practices. Local storage in the app does not mean that our website or service providers process no information.
1. Information stored in the app
BeeXon is designed for local, nearby communication. It creates your profile and BeeID locally without requiring registration of a cloud account with Papalalo, LLC.
Information stored on your device includes:
- Your display name, profile icon, and preferences.
- BeeID identity information and encryption material.
- Group memberships, messages, and delivery confirmations.
- Blocked senders and saved safety reports.
- Technical information needed to operate and troubleshoot the app.
The production app does not automatically upload your chat history or saved safety reports to a BeeXon server. It does not include the internal Test Lab reporting feature.
2. Information exchanged with nearby users
BeeXon uses Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and local-network connections to exchange encrypted group messages, invitations, membership updates, and delivery confirmations.
When you communicate with other users, they may receive your display name, profile icon, identifiers, group information, and messages. Participating devices may temporarily store and forward encrypted packets to help messages reach their recipients.
Encryption protects message content, but it does not make all communication information invisible. Devices participating in delivery may process sender identifiers and routing, timing, or delivery information.
Recipients may retain, copy, photograph, or share information they receive. Deleting information from your device does not delete copies held by other users.
3. Permissions and device features
BeeXon requests permissions needed for features you use, including:
- Bluetooth and nearby-device access: To discover and communicate with nearby devices.
- Local-network access: To communicate over supported local connections.
- Camera access: To scan group invitation QR codes.
- Device authentication: To protect sensitive actions using supported device security features.
The current production release does not offer geographic-location sharing. Some Android versions require a location-related permission for nearby-device discovery; this is separate from sharing your geographic position with other users.
You can manage permissions through your device settings. Disabling a required permission may prevent the corresponding feature from working.
4. BeeID export and recovery
You can export a password-protected, encrypted BeeID file for recovery.
This file contains sensitive identity and recovery information. It may also contain group recovery information and retained message history for groups you created.
You choose where to save or share the file. If you select a cloud-storage service or another application, that provider’s information practices also apply.
Keep your BeeID file and recovery password secure. Do not send your recovery password or private identity information to support.
5. Blocking and safety reports
Blocking is local to your device and prevents future messages from the blocked sender from being stored there.
Safety reports are saved locally. They are not automatically submitted to Papalalo, LLC. You decide whether to share a report with support or another person.
If you share a report, it may contain information about you or other users. Review it before sharing and include only what is necessary.
6. App information retention and deletion
The current production release applies a 30-day retention period to local message history through its cleanup processes. Cleanup depends on the app running; this is not a guarantee that every copy disappears exactly 30 days after a message is sent.
Other local information, such as your profile, groups, preferences, blocked senders, and saved reports, remains until removed through the applicable app controls or local-data deletion.
You can use Delete BeeXon data from this device to remove local app information, including identity and encryption information.
Local deletion does not erase:
- Copies held by other users.
- Separately exported BeeID files or other saved copies.
- Information you have sent to support.
- Information separately processed by service providers.
Papalalo, LLC cannot remotely delete information that exists only on your device or another user’s device.
7. Android service providers
The Android app uses Google Nearby Connections for nearby communication and Google ML Kit for QR-code scanning.
Google documents collection of technical information by these components for diagnostics, usage analysis, and service improvements:
- Nearby Connections: Device and app information, together with discovery, connection, reliability, and performance measurements. Google describes a collection control under the device’s Google → Usage & diagnostics settings. Nearby Connections disclosure.
- ML Kit: Device and app information, installation identifiers, performance measurements, feature configuration and usage events, and error information. ML Kit disclosure.
The Nearby Connections setting should not be assumed to control ML Kit or every other Google service.
These Android-specific practices are separate from BeeXon uploading chat history to Papalalo, LLC. They do not describe the iOS app’s use of these Android components.
8. Website hosting and statistics
IONOS hosts beexon.app and provides SiteAnalytics for website statistics and technical improvements.
Information processed includes requested pages or files, referring websites, access times, browser and operating-system details, device type, and an anonymized IP address used to determine the location of access.
According to IONOS, SiteAnalytics does not use cookies and anonymizes visitors’ IP addresses immediately after transmission. This statement applies specifically to SiteAnalytics, not to every website or administration feature. IONOS SiteAnalytics disclosure.
Under our hosting arrangement, website access logs are retained for a maximum of eight weeks. IONOS log-file documentation.
SiteAnalytics makes the preceding 12 months of statistics available for analysis. This reporting window does not establish a deletion deadline for all underlying analytics data. IONOS reporting-history documentation.
Website statistics are separate from information stored locally in the BeeXon app and from support-email records.
9. Website comments and cookies
We have disabled comments, pingbacks, and trackbacks on our website’s posts and pages.
WordPress and hosting administration features may use cookies for purposes such as administrator sign-in and session management. You can manage cookies in your browser settings.
10. Email support
Support is provided through support@beexon.app and handled internally by Papalalo, LLC. IONOS hosts our mailbox and processes messages to provide email service.
When you contact us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. These may include screenshots, device details, or reports.
We use support information only to assist users and respond to their requests, including privacy requests. We do not use support information for advertising or marketing, sell it, or provide it to other businesses for their own purposes.
We do not outsource support or process support requests using ticketing services or AI tools.
Support emails and attachments are automatically deleted 180 days after the request is resolved. Our support-email backup arrangements do not retain copies after deletion.
Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information. Never send your BeeID recovery password.
11. Service providers and legally required disclosures
Service providers described in this policy process information to provide hosting, email, website statistics, or app functionality.
We may disclose information we hold when required by applicable law or a valid legal process. This does not give us access to messages or files stored only on users’ devices.
When you choose to send information through another application or save it with another provider, review that provider’s privacy practices.
12. Children and teenagers
BeeXon is intended for people aged 13 and older. Users aged 13–17 must have permission from a parent or guardian.
BeeXon is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to Papalalo, LLC, contact support@beexon.app so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Parents and guardians should help teenagers understand group membership, message sharing, and the importance of protecting BeeID recovery files and passwords.
13. Security
BeeXon uses encryption and device security mechanisms to help protect information. However, no application, device, storage method, or transmission method can guarantee complete security.
Protect your device with a secure passcode, install security updates, and share group invitations and recovery information carefully.
14. Your choices and privacy requests
You can:
- Manage app permissions in your device settings.
- Use the app’s blocking and local-data deletion controls.
- Choose whether to export a BeeID file or share a report.
- Manage website cookies through your browser.
- Contact us about access, correction, or deletion of information we hold about you.
Send privacy requests to support@beexon.app. We may need information sufficient to verify and locate your request, but you should not send passwords or private encryption keys.
Our ability to respond is limited to information we hold or control. We cannot retrieve or erase messages stored only on other users’ devices.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our features, providers, or information practices change. We will publish the revised policy here and update its effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
